  Supplemental Educational Services (SES)

TCRC has qualified to become a SES provider.

WHAT IS SES ?:       Supplemental Educational Services are FREE academic support services which include tutoring, remediation and other educational interventions designed to  increase the academic achievement of  students in low-performing schools which are provided outside of the regular school day.

WHO  WE  SERVE:    Students from low-income families who are attending Title I schools that are in their second year of school improvement (i.e., have not made adequate yearly progress (AYP) for three or more years), in corrective action, or in restructuring status are eligible to receive these services.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:    Parents of eligible students are notified by the local school systems that SES is available.  Parents can select TCRC or any approved provider that will best meet their child’s academic needs.  The school systems will then sign an agreement with TCRC to provide services. If TCRC is selected by parents, we can begin providing FREE services to the child.  Students’ progress is reported to parents and the local school system.  Students' progress is reported to parents and the local school system.
